Two independent studies have demonstrated a marked increase in comprehension and retention rates among Booktrack readers versus those reading standard eBooks.

A New York University study concluded that there was a significant increase in comprehension and retention for university students when using Booktrack.

A more recent study published in March 2014, was conducted by the University of Auckland on children aged 10 to 14 years. The study conclusively showed that Booktrack readers not only demonstrated a nearly 20% increase in comprehension, but also spent significantly more time reading.
